The owners: Festoon is the creation of husband and wife team Anna Rodrigues and Phil Raby. They live in the Greater Toronto Area with their two daughters, two cats and two dogs.
Besides running the day-to-day operations of Festoon, Phil Raby is a journalist who has worked for more than 24 years as a print reporter, photographer, editor, videographer and television producer. His photographs appear in the travel sections of many Canadian daily newspapers and his freelance writing appears regularly in MoneySense magazine. Phil is also a part-time instructor in the Journalism department at Durham College in Ontario.
Anna Rodrigues is an award-winning television producer and widely-published writer. Her articles have been seen in many prominent North American newspapers and magazines. She is also the former associate editor of CityLine Axs Magazine and associate producer of Silverman Helps on CityTV. Anna is currently teaching broadcast journalism, new media and magazine writing at Durham College in Oshawa, Ontario. In addition, Anna also publishes an online travel magazine for families called Trips With Kids. Anna and Phil also publish a third website called Consumer Couple.
